Our Story

Sean helps leaders and executives develop professionally and personally to grow in their careers and achieve measurable, impactful results for their companies and organizations.   

Sean’s insight, experience and perspective come from having both a corporate and entrepreneurial background, with over 30 years of results-producing direct sales and marketing experience in leadership roles and client account management, as well as having created and executed numerous sales plans, marketing campaigns, and business development strategies.  His strong understanding of leadership and knowledge of the skills that an effective leader must possess and demonstrate come from a wide range of personal experience in the training and development of people, from recruiting through the hiring, managing, and coaching stages, and continuing with their professional growth as they progress through their careers.  

Sean understands well the importance of having the right processes in place and the critical role they play in helping an organization scale up its growth efficiently and effectively for optimal results and long-term sustainability.

As the co-owner of a profitable marketing company, Sean led sales and marketing for the firm to 400% growth over a period of 7 years and then engineered the successful sale of the company to a larger corporation.  Along with his wife, he built two start-up health and wellness marketing companies with 500+ team members through effective coaching of leaders, designing of processes, presenting of products, and training of high-performance team players.

Succession Planning

Having taken a company through a successful exit, Sean understands the value and importance of having a long-range strategy and succession plan and his experience allows him to help clients make the best decisions for their organizations.  He also brings first-hand experience and insight into the multitude of tangible and intangible factors that go into successfully integrating two organizations into a single entity that can perform smoothly and effectively.

Acquisition

With personal experience both in buying a company and selling one, Sean has insight and knowledge into the things that are necessary to makes a merger successful and the new organization able to perform at an even higher level.  This allows him to provide strategic guidance to his clients in their long-range planning or if they decide to pursue a sale of their company.

Philosophy

Sean’s philosophy is based on the belief that the most successful organizations are built through inspiring, empowering and leading the people who will ultimately shape them.  His approach to professional and personal development has been influenced by a diversity of experiences both within and outside of the business world. Creating and delivering corporate training and managing the professional development of people, as well as many years of volunteering with underprivileged children, have allowed him to study the ways people develop at different stages of their lives. Tutoring grade school youths and helping high school students apply to college and prepare for the lifestyle change that accompanies it, honed his appreciation for the importance of helping people establish the right habits as building blocks for self-improvement. It also firmly ingrained in him the value of working one-on-one with a coach and what can be accomplished through such a relationship. A firm believer in a work/life balance, Sean has applied a holistic approach to his own career and to his roles as husband and father. Drawing from his personal experiences, he works with his clients to help them grow both as leaders and people, as they work towards achieving their individual goals. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the American University in Washington, D.C., in Interdisciplinary Studies: Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics and Government, and a Master of Science Degree in Management from the University of Maryland.

Sean and his wife have 2 children. In addition to helping people live their best lives, he enjoys exercise, boating, the beach, traveling, coaching and watching his kids’ sports and dance teams, reading and learning about new things.
